Trades Wins Support Program (TWS) |
Are
you seeking to obtain your Certification of
Qualification, upgrade your knowledge and
find a job in your trade? The Trades Win Support
program will open the doors for you.
Training Modules
-
A five-week employment
preparation and trade
specific technical and
workplace language
training
-
A six-week, four days
per week technical
training at Humber
College by qualified
instructors
-
Eight weeks of optional
unpaid full time job
placement
-
Four months of face to
face optional mentoring
support

Program Eligibility Requirements
-
Grade 10 or equivalent
education and 4-5 years
work experience in
Trades
-
Permanent Residents,
Canadian Citizens or
Convention Refugees
-
Canadian Language
Benchmark level 7
-
Commitment to complete
the training modules
