Internet Training for Beginners

Tired of having teenagers run circles around you when it comes to using the Internet? It’s time to get the basics on becoming knowledgeable about the web!

Skills for Change has now partnered with Rogers Yahoo! High-Speed Internet to launch the Rogers Yahoo! Internet Training for Beginners.

Rogers Yahoo! Internet Training for Beginners is an interactive instructor-led hands on web training program designed to help you:

• Develop knowledge and familiarity operating web-based tools in their
job search and daily needs

• Increase general level of awareness and use of the Internet

This program will provide you with the knowledge you need to navigate the Internet using,
foremost, Rogers Yahoo’s web products and services.

A nominal enrollment fee of $20 will be charged to each program participant. This fee can be applied as a credit toward the purchase of any Skills for Change PC – based training course (ordered through our TechSkills division) within 12 months of completing the Program.

Who can join?
Anyone with a basic familiarity with computers and English (classes are taught in English only). Seniors and Social Assistance recipients may attend FREE.

When?
January 15, February 5, March 4, April 8, May 6, June 3, July 8

6:30-9:30 p.m. (The session runs for 4 consecutive Tuesday evenings)
