In these classes, students are

Enhanced
Language Training (ELT) for
Engineers
This Enhanced Language Training
(ELT) program for Engineers,
Engineering Technicians and
Technologists is designed to
enable internationally trained
engineers to increase their
communicative proficiency in
English from CLB 7 to CLB 9
level. The ELT program will also
assist engineers in finding work
in their related fields through
job development and mentoring
support. |

Skills
for Change is licensed to administer the
Canadian Language Benchmarks Placement Test
(CLBPT).
The CLBPT is a streamlined assessment
instrument that is an adaptable, efficient
means to place adult learners in ESL
programs. |

Language Instruction for Newcomers to
Canada (LINC)
LINC
is a basic to advanced language and
settlement program funded by Citizenship and
Immigration Canada. Skills for Change offers
full time LINC 3, 4, 4-5 (conversation) and 5
daytime classes. We also offer
level 6-7 classes in the
evenings and Saturdays. |
