Code of conduct

Skills for Change staff, volunteers, and clients are a very diverse group. We all have different ethnic and cultural backgrounds and values. We all have the right to be treated with respect and dignity.

Any behavior, which any person might consider inappropriate and in particular, racist, discriminatory or harassing, is absolutely not permitted. If you feel somebody is behaving this way with you or if you witness this type of behavior, please report it to a Skills for Change staff. We have specific complaint procedures and will follow up on the situation.

In your interactions with clients, instructors or Skills for Change staff and volunteers, we ask that you be polite at all times. Loud voices and aggressive behaviour are not tolerated. If you find yourself in such a situation, try to resolve it through respectful communication.
