A recap of our Pioneers for Change event from Canadian Newcomer Magazine
On June 5th, more than 300 people gathered at the TIFF Bell Lightbox, where Skills for Change held the Pioneers for Change fundraising event, which took the form of a film premiere. The cinematic experience consisted of five short films telling extraordinary life stories of people who first came to Canada as immigrants, and became leaders in their respective fields and role models for the next generations of newcomers.
