For the past 19 years, Skills for Change has hosted the New Pioneer Awards, celebrating over 100 inspiring newcomers and bringing together a large and diverse community of people who believe that immigration is an important part of building Canada’s future. 2012 will be the inaugural event of Pioneers for Change where we will celebrate nation builders, extraordinary people and organizations that have made a major contribution to Canada and inspire newcomers to follow their vision. We will pay tribute to honourees, their family and friends and guests in a celebration of film and music.
