Michelle Ed
munds is a seasoned job developer who has worked with a wide range of job seekers -- from a ballerina to a scientist.
She is part of the Engineering Your Future team, connecting internationally trained engineers with employers in related industries. Michelle has one tenet she applies to employment counselling – there is no such thing as a “general job search”. She develops highly custo mized job search strategies with her clients, “The more targeted a person is, the more confident she or he will be getting employment in a specific field.”
Recently, she has developed the teaching and instructing aptitudes of clients, supporting their development as independent workshop facilitators as a means to augment their income, build self-confidence and Canadian experience. Michelle has studied counselling and journalism and possesses a flare for negotiation.
